When you call the moving company you will need to have some facts about what you will be moving already in place. You need to go ahead and write down how many beds and dressers you have, what size beds do you have, how many tables do you have, as well as all the other big items in your house. You then need to be able to give a pretty good estimate on how many boxes of items you will have. I recommend boxing everything yourself to prevent theft and breakage. Be sure to ask each moving company how much the insurance costs and what the deductable is if they break something. If they don't really know what your talking about hang up and call someone else. |
