| The Houston Rodeo and Livestock show is always way up there on the list of fun things to do in Houston because it is about as authenticate of a Houston thing that you can do that I know of. Beyond the rodeo and livestock show I would recommend checking out the art museums as well as some of the shopping and theaters in the area. There is always Houston event information available at the official Houston vistor's website. Be sure and check out the vistor's website for updated information on what is going on. If you are a clubber and are looking for a musically festive club with lots of people and dancing then the Mercury Room is a good place to get you started. The Mercury Room has been given a thumbs up by most of the Houston locals. |
