When shopping on craigslist you can easily buy all the furniture and home items you will need at a discount because you are buying it from apartment dwellers, broken relationships and in general people who have an, "I don't want it" mentality. I have literally been given $300 and up tables and chairs, beds, bed frames and other misc items because people didn't want to move the items. Many people in apartments especially don't want to move beds, dresser drawers, fish tanks and other items when they can just sell it on craigslist and let someone else haul it away. This is a win win situation but the buyer usually ends up getting a much better deal when buying something on Craigslist. If you haven't bought something on Craigslist Houston I recommend checking it out because they have everything for sell on there by real people. |
